Sue Stoneburner
Lead Optician

Sue Stoneburner started her optical career in 1976 working at Bausch & Lomb Optical Lab in Eugene, Oregon. At B&L she learned the business from the manufacturing of prescription lenses to perfectly fitting a pair of glasses to her customers. After the lab experience Sue was fortunate to be mentored for four years by one of the best licensed opticians in the area. This foundation laid the groundwork that turned learning about her profession into a passion. Unfortunately in the state of Oregon one does not need a license to dispense eyewear. A person can be flipping burgers one day and filling a prescription for glasses the next. Sue has taken time to become an American Board Certified Optician, which is a nationally recognized designation. After 40 years in the business she continues to learn by taking as many hours of continuing education as she can to stay apprised on new products and technologies in the industry. Sue has worked directly with Dr. Polansky and Dr. Gross for over 30 years and truly enjoys helping others.
